Climbing Rope Attachment Hardware

Climbing Rope Hardware: I-Beam Clamp

It makes sense (or at least it should) that when you train, you want to do so as safely as possible. After all, the goal is to end up better than when you started, not worse, and so part of successful training is to make sure that the equipment you use is always safe and secure.

Of course, this is also why top quality is the way to go - for example, there's nothing like having a barbell snap while you're using it to wreck your whole day.

Anyhow, when it comes to climbing ropes, one of the most important factors is to make sure that it is attached safely and securely every time you climb.

Think of this like buckling your seat belt - tis a good idea for a lot of good reasons, the least of which is to save your noggin should it ever come to that.

In any case, to make sure you have the safest and most productive climbing rope experience, we feature several different hanging and hardware options.

I realize a lot of folks may have already taken advantage of these options when they previously ordered a climbing rope, but in case you would like some more information we have recently re-done our climbing rope attachment hardware page just to make some things a little more clear.

See it here:

P.S. The deadline for holiday climbing rope orders is swiftly approaching so if you want to get climbing this holiday season, you must order your ropes before the first week of December.

The Benefits of Climbing Rope

I was always interested in climbing ropes and thought they would make an interesting addition to our product line - the grip strength benefits should be obvious -

Well in just two and a half short years we are now the top online climbing rope dealer in the world - thats right, we sell more climbing rope than anyone, and consequently, know more about climbing rope training than anyone else.

Manila Climbing Rope

We are "THE" place for climbing rope info, if you are interested in rope climbing, you came to the right place.

Now, a few of the important things to keep in mind for training with climbing ropes are:

1) To make sure you have the correct rope for your training
2) To make sure your rope is attached safely and securely

There are several different options as far as ropes go but today I am only going to cover one -- but one of the most important: the diameter of your climbing rope.

We currently feature two different diameters for our climbing ropes: 1-1/2 inch and 2 inch.

Now, a lot of people call us up telling us that they are "real strong" and want to start climbing ropes. They want to start at the very top because they are "so damn strong" so they want to go with the 2 inch diameter right away, even if they have no previous climbing rope experience.

Heres the thing: 1-1/2 inch climbing ropes are more than enough of a challenge for even for the toughest of elite athletes.

Above all else, we want to have a rope you can actually climb.

Once you master that climb you can progress by climbing without your feet, holding your legs straight, two ropes, wearing a weighted vest, upside down etc.

And, of course, you can climb as many times as you need to in order to get a great workout (it wont take much.)

All in all, the 1-1/2 inch climbing ropes are going to be the perfect choice for just about every athlete and training program, especially if you are dealing with high school athletes which is often the case with these climbing ropes.

Now, I wont beat around the bush - climbing a two inch rope is quite a feat.

If you think you are up to the challenge we can certainly oblige and help you out with the finest 2 inch diameter climbing ropes in the business.

Keep in mind that we are getting close to the tipping point for our
climbing ropes this Holiday season. These ropes are manufactured by hand and do take time to put together.

We still have time, but if you want to build "crazy monkey climbing Strength" we will need to place the order with our manufacturer asap.

A Message From Shelby

If you've called in or placed an order, most likely you’ve received a reply from me about the shipment of your order! I would just like to clear up some questions that I receive frequently to assist those of you in ordering, and I have a special request at the end so that I can ensure that your package gets to the correct address, quickly!

All of these questions and answers will also be located on the Product Question and Answer page in case you delete this or need to refer back! Thanks everyone! I enjoy hearing from all of you!

Shelby

Questions

How do you ship?

We ship most products via the United States Postal Service Priority Mail.
If you order a Log Bar or Climbing Ropeit will be shipped via UPS.

How long will it take until my package arrives?

This is a good question. This depends on when you place the order, (we are located in Michigan which is Eastern time, and we are usually out of the office after 5:00 pm. -- out training our forearms!) and where you live.

If you live within the United States and you didn't order a Log Bar, Climbing Rope, or Jump Rope, your order should arrive within 3-5 Business Days. If you did order one of these things, please keep in mind the following lead times:

Log Bars: 6 to 8 weeks
Black Iron Thick Bars 6 to 8 weeks
Climbing Ropes 10-14 business days

These lead times are in place, because the product you order is custom made. What happens when you place the order is that I place it with the manufacturer the same day, and then they ship the product to you once it is finished.

If you live outside the United States, and your order is being shipped via Priority Mail, it should arrive within 10-14 Business Days.

Can I get a tracking number?

After you placed your order, I print out the packing slip and fill your order. When I print out the postage to send your order, an e-mail is automatically generated with a tracking number for your order. You can then check the status of your order by going to www.usps.com and entering the tracking number (or click on the link in the email.)

This e-mail is entitled: "Your Functional Hand Strength Order Has Been Shipped"

Please check your e-mail for this e-mail, and if you can not find it, please check your SPAM and Trash folder, as some e-mail systems redirect e-mails to SPAM or trash without you knowing. If you cannot find it after that, please feel free to contact me and I can re-send if need be!

If what you ordered is one of the following things:

Log Bars
Black Iron Thick Bars
Climbing Ropes

We do not have access to the tracking numbers unless you specifically request them. As always, please feel free to contact me if you need a tracking number and I will get it to you as quickly as possible.

Do you Ship to PO Boxes?

Yes, everything BUT the following list of items can go to PO Boxes. If you are planning on ordering any of the following items, please provide a physical shipping address:

Log Bars
Black Iron Thick Bars
Climbing Ropes

Do you Ship to APO Addresses?

Yes, we proudly ship our products to APO addresses all over the world to the members of our armed forces.

And Finally My Part:

To Help Expedite Your Order:

This is especially important for our out-of-country customers. Please include all information that is pertinent to your package getting to you. These include the zip/postal code and please try to limit the abbreviations when you are filling out your shipping address. Sometimes it is hard for me to tell if "S" means South or Street, and I want to be sure that your package gets to you in the quickest amount of time!

Also, please be sure to check and double check and make sure that your shipping information is entered correctly. A quick double check that you included your apartment number or that the zip code is correct can save your package from being delayed or worse yet from never getting to you!

Rope Climbing Workout

It was such a beautiful day yesterday that we hung a climbing rope from the balcony in back of the FHS warehouse and did a few things. Take a look:

Me and Flash, checkin' the scene.

Up, up and away.

Pullups and leg raises...
