It couldn't have been a more perfect weekend - the weather was beautiful, the sun was shining and the good guys won all their games. I had a great workout on Saturday followed by an even better run on Sunday. I found a great new hill to run and the garage gym is turning out very nicely.
More updates and pictures on those shortly.
Anyhow, heres a few things to keep in mind over the coming week:
1. Our "September Surprise" vintage strength training magazine giveaway is still in full effect but the end is in site. If you want one (or more) of those classic mags for your collection, the time to take action is now.
We are sending one out with every order placed this month which means that this coming Sunday will be the last day (or until we run out.)
Heres a pair of our two latest products if you would like to get yours with
something new:
The Physical Body 2 DVD & Zoor Khane
Everlast Classic Leather Medicine Balls
2. Internet orders are always popular due to their convenience but phone and Mail-in orders have been steadily increasing. If you need anything or would like to place an order over the phone, just give us a shout at 1-800-978-0206 and we will get you hooked up.
Of course we also have a 24 hour secure ordering line in case you see something at 3 am that you just gotta have. Yes, you can call anytime but please be aware of our normal business hours if you would like to talk to a live person.
As far as mail orders, please be sure to provide your complete contact info and your email address if you would like a confirmation email and tracking number.
3. Things will steadily be getting busier from now until after the holidays.
We have books, dvd's and hand grippers in stock at all times but some of our specialty items need a little more time to produce. We have been working closely with our manufacturers so they place larger orders so that we can cut the lead time of our products down considerably.
Still, if you order any piece of equipment and must have it by a certain date, please be aware of the posted lead times.
4. Speaking of lead times, it is important that you know that we place orders with our various manufacturers immediately. No waiting or skrewin' around here, we want you to get your order as quickly as you possibly can.
5. A look into the future:
Hard to believe its almost October. We still have some big plans for 2007. Before the clock strikes twelve on New Years eve, youll see plenty of good Stuff coming your way from us. We have a number of training guides, books and new equipment on the way.
The plan is that this far, we have focused on "finding" new and unusual products that you probably wouldn't have found or heard of otherwise. What can I say - there's good stuff out there that is easy to miss sometimes.
When we run across something interesting, you can be that we will check it out and let you know.
However, people have been ravenous for new material and training guides coming directly from me -- and I couldn't agree more. At several points in the past I have mentioned that we have some training guides in the works.
Long story short, we hope to have two of them ready to roll by mid-November. Keep an eye out for those, they should be fantastic when they are ready.
All for now, give em hell this week.
Train hard,
John Wood
