Question: Are there benefits I can gain by hanging two or more climbing ropes in the same general area?

Answer:

While one rope is certainly sufficient to provide a great workout, having an additional rope available can provide benefits beyond "traditional" rope climbing. Hanging two ropes near one another affords the climber opens up For example, with two ropes, it is easier to do hanging leg raises and other abdominal exercises. Also, climbing two ropes simultaneously, one in each hand, is a unique way of climbing.

So to make a long answer short, if you're thinking about multiple ropes, give it a shot!
