Question: What is the difference between the 1.5" and 2" diameter ropes?

Answer:

Well, the simple answer is that the 2" diameter ropes are half an inch thicker. However, the differences go well beyond that.

As a result of the thicker diameter, the 2" ropes stress grip and forearms to a greater degree, providing a much different workout than that achieved with the 1.5" ropes. The 2" ropes require a wider grip, making most exercises more challenging.

Either diameter, however, will provide for a varied and challenging workout for improving your grip and forearm strength.
