The thick bars of the past and those that are available elsewhere
are usually either a hollow pipe or a solid piece of stock with inside collars welded on. These options certainly serve
their purpose very well and if this is more your style, please visit a scrap yard or metal dealer to procure yours instead
of paying commercial prices for it.
