Simply Unbelieveable!Dear Friend,A couple weeks ago our buddy Dave Lemanczyk ordered a full set of canvas sandbags from us. He said he had a few "things" he wanted to try with them and after having tried all kinds of other alternatives, wanted to finally go with the best quality sandbag out there. Dave was a big time basketball player in college and also played professionally in Europe so you know he doesnt screw around when it comes to training. His Dad, Dave Lemanczyk Sr., played Major league baseball for a number of years and his brother is currently in the St. Louis Cardinals organization so you know athletic genes run in the family. So anyhow Dave is still training like a madman, both on and off the court. You would be hard pressed to find anyone in any sport with a better combination of strength, endurance and mental toughness Dave had been using these Canvas powerbags for a number of functional movements in his training, many of them fairly standard and straightforward but also some that he came up with himself. One day we got a call from Dave saying that he was going to try something later on that day, something that had never been done before that would be guaranteed to knock anyone's socks off if he could pull it off... but he wouldn't tell us what it was. So here's what he did:
Yes, that really is a slam dunk with a 15 pound canvas powerbag sandbag. Easily one of the most impressive feats I have ever seen and I've seen a lot of 'em. Thing is, he had to do this over 50 times before he got a good picture out of it. Eventually 50 sandbag dunks became a regular workout for Dave. He thinks he may be able to dunk a 35 pounder. That is intense!
